My paintings celebrate all that I love about the ocean and water -- the light and color, the peace of mind, and the adventure.  I work from memories of my childhood spent wandering beaches, saltwater marshes and tide pools of Southern California.  I have always been delighted and fascinated by patterns of sunlight on the water, how waves shape the sand, and how winter storms drive the heavy surf up and over the beaches.
